อุทยานแห่งชาติตาดหมอก

ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองเพชรบูรณ์ไปทางตะวันออกเพียง 37 กิโลเมตร มีอาณาเขตทั้งสิ้นประมาณ 290 ตารางกิโลเมตร ผืนป่าอุดมสมบูรณ์ประกอบด้วยเทือกเขาสูงสลับซับซ้อน เป็นแหล่งต้นน้ำที่สำคัญของลำน้ำป่าสักและลำน้ำชีและเป็นพื้นที่ป่ากันชนให้กับผืนป่าสามแห่ง คือ อุทยานแห่งชาติน้ำหนาว เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าภูเขียว และเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าตะเบาะ-ห้วยใหญ่ ภายในบริเวณมีน้ำตกที่สวยงามสองแห่ง ได้แก่ น้ำตกตาดหมอก และน้ำตกสองนาง น้ำตกตาดหมอก อยู่ห่างจากที่ทำการอุทยานฯ ๑,๘๐๐ เมตรตามเส้นทางเดินเท้า เป็นน้ำตกขนาดใหญ่ชั้นเดียวไหลลงมาจากหน้าผาสูงเด่น มีความสูง ๗๕๐ เมตร สภาพป่าโดยรอบเป็นป่าสมบูรณ์เต็มไปด้วยต้นไม้ใหญ่นานาชนิด น้ำตกสองนาง เป็นน้ำตกขนาดใหญ่ที่น่าชมอีกแห่งหนึ่งของอุทยานนี้ มีความสูง 12 ชั้น นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถเดินขึ้นไปชมน้ำตกได้ทั้ง 12 ชั้น ภายในหนึ่งวัน แต่ละชั้นมีความสูงระหว่าง 5–100 เมตร จากที่ทำการอุทยานฯ ไป ๑๓ กิโลเมตร จะเป็นจุดเริ่มต้น เส้นทางเดินศึกษาธรรมชาติ ไปน้ำตกตาดหมอก น้ำตกสองนาง เป็นระยะทาง ๒ กิโลเมตร ประมาณ ๑ ชั่วโมง ตลอดเส้นทางเดินเท้านักท่องเที่ยวจะได้ศึกษาพรรณไม้ต่าง ๆ ทั้งไม้ใหญ่ ไม้จำพวกมอส เฟิร์น ไลเคน พบรอยเท้าสัตว์ชนิดต่าง ๆ เช่น เก้ง หมาป่า และยังมีนก ผีเสื้อ นกเงือก     อัตราค่าเข้าอุทยานฯ นักท่องเที่ยว ชาวไทย ผู้ใหญ่ ๒๐ บาท เด็ก ๑๐ บาท ชาวต่างประเทศ ผู้ใหญ่ ๒๐๐ บาท เด็ก ๑๐๐ บาท   สถานที่พัก อุทยานฯ มีบริการบ้านพักไว้สำหรับนักท่องเที่ยว จำนวน ๓ หลัง พักได้ ๕-๖ คน ราคา ๙๐๐-๑,๕๐๐ บาท และมีเต็นท์ให้เช่าพักแรม พักได้ ๒-๖ คน ราคา ๒๐๐–๖๐๐ บาท สอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมได้ที่ อุทยานแห่งชาติตาดหมอก ตู้ ป.ณ.๔ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ ๖๗๐๐๐ โทร. ๐ ๑๙๙๒ ๐๙๙๘ หรือที่ สำนักอุทยานแห่งชาติ กรมอุทยานแห่งชาติสัตว์ป่าและพันธุ์พืช เขตบางเขน กรุงเทพฯโทร. ๐ ๒๕๖๒ ๐๗๖๐ วันจันทร์-วันศุกร์ เวลา ๐๘.๓๐–๑๘.๐๐ น., วันเสาร์ เวลา ๐๙.๐๐–๑๕.๓๐ น. หรือสำรองที่พักด้วยตนเองได้ที่ http://www.dnp.go.th Situated away from the Golden Triangle to the east just 37 km of territory of about 290 square kilometers.
